The Blood Centre is a vital, 24-hour operational facility established in 2007. It is dedicated solely to the collection and supply of safe, screened whole blood and components, ensuring a critical, uninterrupted reserve is available to government and private hospitals across the Thanjavur region.
Our dedicated Ambulance Service provides essential, subsidized emergency transport. This service is primarily committed to offering timely and affordable access to medical facilities for the economically vulnerable and critical patients within the district, upholding the principle of impartiality.
The Guest House offers a low-cost, supportive accommodation facility. It is primarily utilized by visiting volunteers, trainees, staff from partner organizations, and families of patients requiring short-term, affordable stays near the city’s main health centers, directly supporting the humanitarian mission.
The fully-equipped Training Hall serves as the hub for our capacity building efforts. It is available for conducting Training, workshops, meetings and other community resilience programs for both IRCS initiatives and public partners.
Office Space for Rental is offered to corporate, non-profit institutions, and for events, acting as a crucial sustainable funding mechanism. All rental income directly contributes to the maintenance and operational costs of the Blood Centre, Ambulance service, and our core community welfare programs.
The dedicated Lab Facility provides essential, free basic screening and diagnostic services specifically for Senior Citizens. This community health initiative ensures vulnerable elders in the district have access to early and preventive health check-ups at no cost.
